Receive peer support and professional guidance in a warm supportive setting.
Led by a licensed social worker, the group will examine common grief issues
including depression, anger, loneliness, coping skills, and lifestyle changes.

Caring for a Spouse or Life Partner with Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, MS, or other life-altering condition?
Come be in a room with others who “get it.”

A Time To Mourn: Coping with Friend Loss in Challenging Times

Opportunities to express the grief experienced after the loss of dear friends were limited this past year, as many funerals and other rituals of mourning were limited to close family. Yet losing friends can be one of the most emotionally challenging aspects of aging. In this professionally facilitated session, we will discuss the often under-recognized impact of friend loss, support one another, and memorialize those we have lost.
